WVFAP has served the low income, handicapped and elderly since 1982 with food and household goods. We are a non-profit organization and we are self-supporting through our nominal membership fees.
Each member contributes the following membership fees monthly: $34 for the first family member and $2 each for each additional family member. There is an annual $5 application fee.
| Family Size | Gross Monthly Income | |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | $1,552 | Above 4 family members, add $530 per person |
| 2 | $2,082 | |
| 3 | $2,612 | |
| 4 | $3,142 |
Because our products are donated through various merchants, items vary some from week to week. Some of the products we typically have are: fresh produce, frozen foods, meats (occasionally), cereal, snack items, dry dinners, canned goods, juices, breads, pastries and dairy products. We also distribute pet food and household goods. The amount you receive is based on family size.
A member may come into our warehouse one time each week to shop. Members choose the items they will use so there is no waste in our program.

If you are receiving food stamps, you are still eligible for our program. Our program supplements food stamps.
WVFAP offers work experience for our volunteers as well as a pleasant social environment for all. We are very involved with the community and do numerous fundraisers throughout the year to help keep the program running smoothly.
